Great, but short-sighted by CZ. 03-03-2017
I own a Kadet II .22 LR kit that I use on my CZ 75 SP-01 and my CZ 75 PCR. The Kadet is GREAT! It functions perfectly and it is very accurate. With the proper ammunition it will print a ten shot, extreme spread group under one inch at fifty yards fired on a Ransom Rest. If you want better than that, you may have to look very hard. What I don't like about these magazines is that they are not cut on both sides of the magazine for the magazine retention catch. One great feature of the CZ 75 among many is the ability to switch the magazine release button from one side to the other. CZ's standard magazines are cut to support this feature, but their Kadet magazines are not. So, you have to cut them yourself if you prefer the magazine release on the right side of the pistol which I do. My strong hand is my right hand and I shoot IDPA and I don't like to lose my grip on my pistol when making a magazine change. I also have only medium sized hands, but with the magazine catch release on the right side I never lose my grip and need only one finger on my right hand to drop the magazine. I use the Kadet kit to practice and keep my shooting costs down while practicing more.
I wish CZ would relieve the Kadet magazines on both side of the magazine. Also, be very careful relieving the magazine yourself as at $45 each, you can waste a lot of money doing this job.
