Hartowane stalowe elementy wewnętrzne i polerowane powierzchnie iglicy zmniejszają opór i zapewniają gładkie, konsekwentne pociągnięcie spustu.

I will definitely buy this again(25-12-2009)
It was easy to fit and the factory safety went on no sweat, As one other said take a foto of your factory unit before you pull it down an then fitting is easy. set the pull to 2# and it has never varied, good to go.
Shilen Comp trigger(08-11-2011)
Had gotten a Remington 40-XB "stripped" barrelled from the CMP N. Store Labor Day weekend. No trigger, bolt or stock. Bought this trigger, used my 2007 CPM 40-XB bolt (it properly headspaced) and the old stock, and borroowed a Tasxo 10-40X scope from another gun in the cabinet. What a trigger. The 1964 gun shot great, the trigger is VERY light in pull, so don't close the bolt unless you are ready to shoot. This is truely for target shooting, would not be safe for hunting. Will buy another one of these triggers for the 3rd 40-X I have in the waiting.
Great bang for the buck(10-11-2011)
Got a CMP stripped 40-XB .22LR reliever about a month ago to install this on. Installation was very easy, instructions and 1/8" installation pins are included. All that was needed was a drift punch (smaller than 1/8") and a small hammer. At the range it functions GREAT. Trigger breaks like a glass rod, with no over-travel. Do NOT use this in the field for hunting, it is for target shooting only.
Great Trigger(14-08-2009)
Crisp and well built trigger. The trigger does not accept factory safety, so i would say it's for competition only. Easy to install; just two pins and it's in. Adjsuting the trigger takes only a few minutes and instructions are provided. [...] Thanks to Shilen for another quality product.
I would highly recommend this trigger.(19-09-2009)
This is the best trigger I have used to date. It doesnt look different from the standard but the quality is night and day difference. The safety and bolt release from the old trigger fits easily as long as you take pictures of the old one or have pictures of one already assembled. I did not do so, and had to go to the internet until I found a good set of pictures. There are virtually no instructions which may dictate you having to go to a gunsmith if you don't follow my recommendations.
Trigger Bliss(21-09-2009)
I put one of these on my 700 ADL in Spring of 2005. It gives an absolutely perfect 1 1/2 lb pull with no variation. It's even better than the trigger on my Remington 40X and that's saying something.
It CAN be used with the factory safety BUT the safety portion of the installation is not easy. I was getting frustrated trying it and had to call Shilen for help. After following their instructions, I got the factory safety working exactly like it did when new.
Well made & crisp release(24-01-2010)
Simple installation, fits perfect without any fitting, crisp release and constant weight of pull, can be adjusted precisely, safe at 750 gram or 3/2 lbs
Outstanding!(03-07-2010)
Absolutely the finest trigger I have ever used.
Thing of beauty(19-07-2010)
Definitely take a pic of your remi trigger to make things easier, almost perfect drop in amazing crisp shoots perfect ended up buying 2 for my pss's one first shot it needed no adjustment out of the box bought the other since they were on sale. Cannot be happier just don't breathe too hard on it.
Its a no brainer.(22-10-2010)
Used this trigger on a varmint gun. This trigger is about as good as they get. The one reviewer that said the factory safety didn't work with it. More than likely replaced an XMARK PRO not the older model. The XMP safety doesn't work with it but you can purchase a safety that does through Brownell's. Bought a Timney for another Varmint Gun. The Shilen in my opinion seems cleaner and the narrower trigger width in comparion to the Rem and Timney personally allows me a more precise feel. Sort of like a butter knife versus a scapel. Best trigger for the money!
Great Trigger(03-12-2011)
I was initially skeptical because of the price, but decided to try it because of the reviews. I cant see how any other trigger could be better, unless it included the safety on the trigger already. The safety switch wasn't that hard, just takes some patience. The video on Brownell's will help if you get stuck. Great trigger for a great price
Great feel, not without issues(29-04-2013)
I'm shooting a 700 SPS Tactical in .308, manufactured in 2012. Dropped this unit in and the trigger felt very crisp and broke clean. The pull weight adjustment range is perfect for the type of tactical shooting I do. I wanted something that was lighter than stock but not so light that I would be afraid of an early discharge whenever my finger contacted the trigger. One downside to the feel was the sharp edges on the trigger. I'd much rather prefer a little softening of the trigger edges so that it doesn't dig into skin as easily. This has 90 degree cuts, probably machined, with no chamfering or fillets added to the corners/edges.
Despite the great release characteristics, I quickly discovered an issue with the hammer dropping when cycling the bolt. I turned up the sear engagement and pull weight incrementally, hoping this would solve the issue, but it only mitigated the problem. At some point, the sear engagement becomes so high it feels worse than stock, and I wanted a lighter pull so I wasn't happy leaving the spring at maximum engagement. Even with the spring and sear engagement maxed out, if I slammed the bolt forward, it would "activate" the trigger such than when I lowered the bolt knob to the closed position, it would disengage the firing pin. This is a definite no-go for me since I shoot matches. I don't think it would have accidentally discharged but it could cause me to miss a crucial shot due to "misfire". I did not check with live ammo, only dummy rounds. I re-installed my stock trigger as a sanity check and it worked fine without the issue mentioned.
I contacted Shilen about this and they failed to produce an answer after 2 months of back and forth emails regarding the issue. They were responsive to my emails but at the end of the day, I still have a non-functional trigger sitting on my desk. I was never offered a replacement and I even offered to send it in to have it looked at but was told not to. Perhaps it's a common issue, perhaps it's a rare case. Who knows? Regardless, this trigger is getting returned.
Not reliable for a field use!!(24-08-2014)
Bummed and lost $$ on this trigger install. Judge me how you will⦠Ive been a tool room machinist and doing custom rifle work for the majority of my life and I hate to say it but Shelin is dropping the ball here! Ordered one of these when the Timney's were out of stock. Mind you this is for a reliable/safe hunting rifle and no matter how much spring tension or amount I increased engagement this trigger still would drop the firing pin while closing the bolt. Sure not when you did it very gently, like when your at the bench doing load work or shooting groups, but at least one out of every three semi aggressive cycles of the bolt the pin dropped!!! It's a great feeling trigger when it works, that's why it even gets on star from me. Other wise its a useless piece of "steel". These should not be sold as anything but bench triggers IMHO.
